How do I book and pay?

To book personal training with Alex, drop me an email info@alexwalkerpersonaltraining.com to arrange a call.  From there we can discuss your needs and health goals and set up the first sessions.  If you choose to go ahead, I will send you an invoice and you can pay by bank transfer.  You can pay per month or per block of sessions in advance.

Can I reschedule a session?

I am very flexible and understand that life can sometimes get in the way.  However, once you have secured a booking with me, I am unable to recover this time and will find it very difficult to fill the space, particularly at short notice.  I ask that any rescheduling is done a minimum of 48-hours in advance or you will incur the cost of the session.

 

Can I train with a friend?

Yes, I am more than happy for two people to participate in a training session.  The cost will be an additional £15 per extra person.

 

Do you do one-off sessions?

No.  Personal training is a commitment that requires dedication and consistency to get results.  I provide monthly packages and block bookings only.

Can I do online personal training from anywhere?

Yes! Online personal training can be done anywhere on earth as long as you have a device and wifi – be it in your home, your work, on holiday, in your local gym or even at the local park. For the majority of my programs, I recommend a minimum of a kettlebell and dumbbell weight set, but this can be catered around your requirements and available equipment.

 

How long will it take to get my results?

Fitness results are different for everyone, not only does it depend on your goals, it depends upon your body, your fitness level and of course how consistent and committed you are.  I can guarantee if you stick to the plan and follow the advice provided, you will get your results and enjoy the journey!

 

What guarantee can you give me that I will get the desired results?
I will provide you with everything you need to achieve them but you must work hard, commit and be consistent.  If you do this, I will provide all the help and support you need.  I will be available to support you through my app and you can contact me anytime.

What are the benefits of using an online personal trainer?
Online personal training is definitely the most cost effective way of having personal training.  It is flexible around your schedule and commitments and you don't have to wait between sessions to solve problems and issues you encounter along the way.

 

What are the benefits of using a personal trainer over joining a gym?

Everything I do is tailored and specific for you.  I write your plans so you don't have to think about what exercises to do.  I also provide you with the accountability and expertise you will need to succeed.  

 

Do I have to pay extra to use your app?
No my app is an integrated client and communication management software program provided by Everfit.  I have invested in this app to provide the highest standards to my clients.  All clients are advised to download the app as it will be easiest and best method for measurement tracking, following your training programme, messaging me and more.  You will be invited to the app once you become my client.  

 

Do I need a gym membership?
No, you do not need to be a member of a gym to take part in any of my programmes.  I am able to write a programme based upon the equipment, space and time you have available.  I work with many different types of people from those who have gym memberships and tonnes of time on their hands to those who have a couple of dumbbells and can only workout for one hour each week.  It goes without saying that a gym membership will allow you to access more equipment but it is not essential.  I will use your initial consultation to explore this with you and write a programme that suits you.  

 

Do I have to weigh, measure and take before photos?

Weight, photos and measurements are all great tools to help me to track your progress, the more data I have, the more we can see the changes.  I understand you may not be fully comfortable with your data as it stands but I want to assure you that all data is treated confidentially and will never be shared without your permission.  At the end of your programme I may request to use your photos but this is entirely your choice.  

 

Can I have a refund?

Before our sessions begin, you have a right to change your mind and be issued a refund.  Once our sessions start, should you decide to cancel, you will be refunded 75% of the difference of any sessions you have already taken to cover any administrative costs that will have been incurred.  For subscription-style payments, you may cancel before your next billing date. 

 

Can I share my success, videos, photos, workouts anywhere? 

Absolutely.  I have a Facebook group that you are welcome to join and celebrate in.  I am also happy for you to share anything on social media and kindly ask that you tag me in using my social handles.

How do you protect my privacy?

Your data is treated in line with GDPR regulations (see my Privacy Policy).
